Bob: The Sweet Sauce
Bob, affectionately known as “the sweet sauce,” infuses the DotAveBoys Soundtrack Compilation No. 1 with his musical magic. As a multi-instrumentalist, he adds the perfect finishing touch to many of the tracks.
Origins and Early Achievements:

Bob’s journey began in Michigan, where he majored in Music Composition and Performance.

His love affair with music started early—at the age of 10, he picked up the guitar and never looked back.

As a young teenager, Bob garnered numerous honors and awards, including Michigan’s highest student accolade for music achievement. He was crowned Best Jazz Guitarist for an unprecedented three consecutive years.
​University and International Adventures:

After high school, Bob secured a music scholarship to the University of Michigan, School of Music.

His career took flight as he received the Gibson Guitar award for outstanding soloist.

Bob’s musical journey spanned continents, performing and touring across France, England, Germany, Switzerland (including the Montreux Jazz Festival), and Europe.
Atlanta and Luminaries:

Graduating from Clark College in Atlanta, Georgia, marked the beginning of Bob’s professional career.

In Atlanta, he had the privilege of performing and studying under luminaries such as Ellis Marsalis, Wynton & Brandford Marsalis, Clark Terry, Nat Adderly, and Billie Taylor.

He’s collaborated with some of the biggest artists, both in recorded sessions and live performances, including Millie Jackson, Bobby Byrd, Keith Sweat, The Milkshake, MSQ Quintet, The Voltage Bros, and The OBEWI Band.
